Paintings

Here are a few samples of my fine art paintings. Creating in this style provides a nice balance between illustration and personal art. I don't really think about a final product. The entire process is solely about texture and color. These paintings really help to clear my head.

Starting Things Off...

Hello everyone, and welcome! This blog will feature a collection of sketches and works in progress from the sketchbook of Kim Feigenbaum (that's me). I love working in graphite but I find it refreshing to keep things mixed up. As a result, many of my finished pieces contain graphite, watercolor, colored pencil, and digital elements. Most of my sketches, however, are almost entirely graphite. Generally, I have some sort of story that accompanies each piece. Creating a narrative is quite fun and very frequently helps with brainstorming new ideas. If I have a specific story that goes with a piece, I will be sure to include it. So to get things started off, here are some recent sketches. Enjoy!
