Dragon Mountain

I just finished up this dragon piece that I have been working on to show at Heroes con in Charlotte, NC this weekend. I've been wanting to do a piece with a dragon rider and harness for a while, so this was a great opportunity. Prints of this guy will be available and I'm hoping to get my hands on a friend's large format printer. Otherwise, they will be 8"x10" on 8.5"x11" paper.

If you plan on attending the con, stop by and say hello (small press table 340). I'll have a variety of prints for sale (including a self-published book of my sketches), and I will also be taking commissions. My friends Billy and Adam will be there, there art is kewl.

Oooo...pink is the new bada$$!

Well, if I'm any judge of such things (and I constantly tell myself I am), I'm thinking this is going to sell well. I just wish I was going to this Con, but unfortunately, my money is earmarked for Anime Expo and Comic Con. Sigh...too many choices...

Hi Kim. This is Tariq from the Studio Revolver booth at HeroesCon. It was great meeting you and putting a face to the art.

I'll definitely be following your blog.

regards,

Tariq.

Mu: Thanks! I usually don't like pink but for some reason this guy just had to be that color. A lot of people really liked it and I'm planning to do more dragons. You can never have enough. Oooh, have fun at Comic Con. I wish I could go. I've had to limit myself to two cons this year. Next up is Dragon Con.

Riq: Hey Tariq! I enjoyed meeting you as well. I didn't realize it at the time, but we are both Art Order artists. I'll be checking out your blog as well.
